Last weeks match with Jackson and Byron was so epic, were bringing Jackson back for a re-clash of the titans! This weekend he will be facing off against Ars Victor founder and creator Mike Bott. Two veteran strategic minds will meet on the battlefield again, and once more with live commentary! Ars Victor creator and developer Steve DeBaun will be breaking down the action, explaining the game, and providing analysis of the brilliant ploys and counter-attacks were bound to see this weekend. In our Developer Series weve shown you the basics of the game, what to do in a standard game, and how to get started. In our next episode wed like to showcase strategic planning and execution. To help us with that were bringing in some Ars Victor veterans from the past.
Joining us this weekend will be Byron Sturtevant and Jackson Sauthaff. Byron and Jackson are two of the most knowledgeable Ars Victor players--former tournament runners and champions. This showcase will reunite two of the best players in the world and is sure to be a great one! Calling this battle of the titans will be Ars Victor creators Mike Bott and Steve DeBaun, providing commentary and analysis as well as answering any questions from the chat. Happy New Year Commanders!
We hope you had a happy and healthy holiday season and are ready to welcome 2021 with us. This year will see the Early Access release of Ars Victor Digital! Improvements to basic gameplay, bug fixes, and minor design updates are being rolled out to alpha testers each week. Right now the big focus of the development team is on the new single-player campaign mode. Look for more screenshots and updates on that project over the next few weeks. To kick the new year off were bringing you the third installment of the Developer Stream Series. This weekend will feature Lead Audio Engineer Jonathan DeBaun vs Producer Alyson Lowe. Big changes in the latest alpha release! This build features the debut of the completely reworked UI system with new tooltip and help features. Features seeing major updates in this release include the enemy and player status windows, the action log, the card well, the pause menu, and the main menu. Development has now begun on the single player campaign mode and is scheduled to be included in the next major release. With this current release we will be opening up more alpha tester spots and we need your help! Your feedback will help us catch bugs and refine development, keeping us on track for our Early Access release in a few months.

To win, you must reduce your enemy’s Glory to zero before they do the same to you. Your successes on the battlefield chip away at your enemy’s Glory. It never goes up, only down; so it’s always a tense, back-and-forth race to the bottom.
Your turn is simple: play a Command Card to activate one or more of your units. Move them across the battlefield, and try to slaughter the enemy. In the process, try to hold on to the three Capture Points in the middle of the board, and keep your Headquarters alive.
Combat is resolved in a single roll of multiple colored dice. Dice quantity and color can be affected by terrain, as well as unit Special Abilities. Simple icons on the dice show the results
