Greetings our faithful players.
In this patch, we focused on long-lasting trains related issues. Although they might look the same. In fact, the reasons why trains might get stuck were plenty. And still, there are some yet unsolved cases. After this patch, it should become rather a rare situation, when you need manually repair the switch. Besides that, we fixed many other issues, some crashes and save/load discrepancies.
List of Changes:
- removed unnecessary lights, added lights on missing spots.
- When intersecting rail segment with a new rail. It will copy the chain/block signal settings of the surrounding switches.
- better trains knowledge about various way changes, so it will correctly tell lights to get green, after leaving its segment.
- Another wrong animation on one specific curve was spotted and fixed.
- there was a discrepancy in generation seeds on new maps between creation and later loads (which remains consistent among all saves). Resulting in that mountains could appear in a slightly different position, or city names could appear twice on the map.
- few crashes were fixed.
We are releasing another hotfix for this... Well, not much stable patch. Thanks for another feedback, that the first hotfix did not solve the issue for all the cases and you were not able to load your water map saves at all. If you have not worked save since the previous hotfix, you should be able to load your game. On the other hand, we had to slightly change the algorithm for spawning trees and mountains on the water maps, so it is not a 100% guarantee, that your old saves will work as some mountain can appear at another position. And if you have water map saves prior 1st hotfix. Patch 1.03 changed some key functions and brought some new challenges and problems for us to solve... We hope, that now you are able to enjoy our game again.
Besides that, we also fixed resolution 3840x1600, which was displayed at 16:9.
We are sorry for any complications that many of you were not able to load your game progress during last week...
Also, Trading cards are approved by steam so, they should start to drop any time soon.

We apologize, that we missed one huge bug in the new patch related to the new maps. An old map without water was not affected at all. Although we fixed the issue sadly all saved progress of water map can be lost and cannot be easily repaired. If you see any issue when loading your saved water-based map we recommend starting the game again. We hope you did not lose much of your time as we tried to release it asap... we still feel very sorry for that.

Hello our players, we finally added this feature into the game. It took us some more time since the last patch, but it is done and updated even on your computers. We hope you will enjoy this long-time promised feature. In this patch, there are first 3 custom maps + old one.
- Realistic map: American East coast + Canada.
- Abstract map: These kinds of maps are not based on realistic backgrounds, just we would like to create some we believe interesting Areas. There is a huge river map.
- Fantasy map: we found funny to add some nostalgic idea, that in reality, you would like to transport elves to visit their dwarven or orc friends with train or airplane. Like hey, even fantasy has to reach that state of technology! In reality, we would like to create maps based on these stories, just due to the licenses we rather modified city names and so we would not also rather mention the fantasy world from which is the first map taken. We believe you will find it out. :) It is more alike nostalgic easter-egg than something else.
- Buses and trucks displayed false warnings.
- Trucks could be stuck inside the depot under some conditions.
- Airships could throw an error under some conditions.
Hello players, We are glad to announce another patch with fixes. It is quite small but important. List of changes:
- Cars could throw an error after load when saved with no road underneath. Causing chaos/collapse of entire road traffic.
- rail tracks did not disconnect from the rail network properly in some cases leaving empty reference (which caused another error fixed in patch 1.01). Now we got the cause. This could lead even to more serious issues like exploding trains (still we are not 100% sure if this is the only way to cause the train to explode)
- Trains could pass through red lights when a part on the other side of the junction was removed and then placed back. Sadly if you have such part of the track in your game the only way to fix it is to remove rails on both sides, where rails connect to another one and place them back.
- Rail tunnel was paid twice it's the price
There is another patch of Transport services making the game working again a little better. We fixed these issues:
- Planes could throw an error and freeze a game, under special conditions.
- Planes could move the opposite way when changing the runway.
- Trains had still another 3 cases when they could perform the wrong movement over rails.
- Trains could not pass one switch more than once in pathfinding (meanwhile we need to check both sides of the switch).
- after some changes during EA train stopped turning back in the stations, when they had to use the station just for turning itself without loading/unloading passengers.
- trains could throw an error when attempting to find a no longer existing way, which correctly should not exist, but we still do not know, why there still was an empty reference as we are unable to replicate it... Anyway, it will no longer cause any issue even if it happens again.
Hello our players. At first let us apologize we feel so badly for this major issue. It was inside steam achievements and our internal testing is mostly outside the steam app. So it was hidden for us. Thanks to you we got a lot of clues to find it out and fix it. Sorry to anyone who spotted that since one moment only violet cities appeared and as you saved your progress, you could not load it again. Also if you do not have a save containing at maximum 1 violet city we have a bad new, that this save could not be restored and should not be loaded as these new cities disappear and also a lot of other stuff. Aside from that, it will contain a few minor fixes:
- Rail could connect to other rails in one special case to the rail under 90
- German "umlauts" fixed, but all cities in saves prior this patch will remain broken letters as they are saved and issue was not in the font, but in the letters.
- fixed missing text in English for passengers.
- added green grass option for colorblind mode
Hello Transport Services players. Thank you for all the feedback and even more to anyone who supported us and the future of this game. Sadly a lot of issues were in the game and so we had weekend full of work to make these things correct. There is a list of changes:
- road pathfinding changed from heuristic model to brute force. Heuristic was fast but imperfect in more complex solutions. So we now calculate all possible ways, at slightly higher computation cost. But it will always reach the destination. regardless the path difficulty.
- stations and buses can be sent now into all stations up to the 200 road tiles from the home station. Recently it was 140m as the crow flies. So once the station is displayed it has any path heading to this station.
- FIX: trains could by some coincidence stop in the middle of reaching the platform. And would never recover the speed (unless reloading the game) to reach up the desired position on platform to load/unload passengers and continue in the way.
- FIX: planes could under lower frame rate miss invisible landing point which navigates plane on to the runway by more than tolerance distance and so it did not land and instead of it circling around the airfield.
- FIX: road's collider was made smaller in previous patches and it could go through Forrests.
- FIX: rail curves next to the bridge ramp could result in wrong train's animation
- FIX: cars and trains on bridge ramp could have the wrong position after game load (disappeared itself when unpaused).
- FIX: truck's depot & trucks could throw an error in colorblind mode when clicking on some elements in their GUI.
- FIX: airplanes did not display in the aerial overview when an airship was also present.
Dear players
At first, let me thank you all who supported us during Early access by purchasing our game and then giving us the feedback. Thanks to you the game moved on huge steps forward from barely playable version to almost stable. Still some harder to catch bugs remains, but we believe that now you can really enjoy the game and sooner or later we will catch them all. Currently, the game reached the state we originally dreamed off. And so it is time to move on and tell other players, who still wait for the final game, that this is that time, that we would originally release the game, without the ability to release it in EA. This is also a reminder for those, who purchased the game on the EA release day and never played it since. That you can give it another try as it gives at least we believe much better experience than a few patches before. Once more thank you, that you took the risks that Early access versions have and stepped into our game. Aside calling this patch just release patch it brings also some changes:
- 39 Achievements are now available in the game. Enjoy getting them all!
- Some bugfixes related to rail signals & trains
- German and Spanish localizations
- Trains scrap refunds changed - now it returns 100% of its purchase value as we know that sometimes the wild bug might leave you with no other choice, then scrapping your machine.

I am glad to announce you that we are releasing another and the last patch before the release version! In current patch you can enjoy of plenty of new features:
- Localizations (currently: French, Czech, Polish, Hungarian) More are on the way, sadly they are delayed and we would have to wait with release even longer. So please be patient with other even more common languages, than some listed.
- Colorblind mode! For those who could not play our game before :)

- Airport now has 3rd level and improves the rate of landing planes significantly
- improved performance of neutral cars & sounds

We are happy to announce a new patch for Transport Services. We hope you will enjoy it!
There are key changes:
- Finance overview, list of cities, list of trains, trucks & buses, planes & airships. Data summary.
- Option to turn off new contract announcements.
- New warning buttons on the right side, which on click will move you to the issue.
- Follow/Unfollow vehicle option with [F] key
- Copy & paste trains route. So spamming trains to the track are now way easier.
- Run costs of ground vehicles raised up drastically ( up to 4x ) and slightly for air vehicles. Air vehicles income from tickets reduced by 50% (after last patch they were able to generate fortune very fast)
- Fixed issue, wrong prices when upgrading some vehicles.
- Fixed many issues which could affect train to not correctly set light to green after leaving the segment or after game load.
- Fixed issue when breaking sound on trains could play repeatably, even though it already stopped.
- Fixed the issue, that sometimes your selected object on GUI switched to another one, especially trains in the stations were sometimes unable to operate with as it opened station's interface instead...
New data overview details:
Just note, that you can click on any icon in the new data mode. Where is the list of cities, clicking on city name, will move you to the city. Clicking on the vehicle, will move you to the vehicle. Also as there is money overview you can see 3-time sessions. Each session last 5 minutes (in normal game speed) So you have comparison 0-5 minutes as current, 5-10 minutes, previous and 10-15 minutes back in time as pre-previous sessions. As usual, I hope you will like the game patch. We believe we make the game better and we appreciate your support. We are still sorry that there are no language localisations yet. You can expect that this will be the main topic of the next patch. Also, we would like to announce, that we would like to move to the release state soon. We will add a few more smaller features, but we will not be able to work on many more bigger ones as we would rather stabilize the game.
Hi players! Today we bring just a smaller fix, where we caught a few errors in the city buildings. And there was still another way how to get negative passengers in the city. So we fixed these issues. And also added an option to change ground color in settings to green or back to white. As some people requested more natural look of the game by adding this grass-like ground.

We would like to release the first hotfix for version 0.3 as well we would like to modify the game balance a little bit. List of modifications:
- bus capacities and prices changed: basic bus: capacity 7 -> 10, price 25 -> 35 medium bus: capacity 10 ->18, price 65 -> 125 advanced bus: capacity 16 ->32, price 225 -> 450
- planes capacities changed (prices remain the same): basic plane: capacity 14 -> 42 advanced plane: capacity 28->100 airship: capacity 42->128 & 7 resources
- train's coaches capacities and prices changed: advanced train & special train: passenger capacity per coach 12->20 advanced train: price 1250 ->1800 advanced train resources capacity per coach: 3 special train resources capacity per coach: 4 Basic and medium trains remain the same with 12 passengers and 2 resources per coach. The special train still has a 25% increased income from tickets.
- cities tend to grow more into heights than into area. Making highrises & skyscrapers sooner to appear after reaching the 3rd stage of the city. ( as you get the announcement, that you can buy a special train and get 500$ reward)
- cities under riot change its mechanic with medium and hard difficulties. In previous versions, you lost some money, when any building was abandoned ( darker & uglier). Now you lose some money as long as your city has problems after being some time overcrowded or goods are ignored, you lose some money over time as long you do not solve this problem. In the previous version, the easiest solution was to let the city die out and you were OK as there was nobody to leave and so no loss for you.
- trains upgrade no longer lose its resources.
- if more color types of passengers wanted to change the vehicle, only one color left the vehicle.
- Trucks could do weird things if more trucks awaited for resources inside. Could lead into never leaving the depot
- hi-rises & skyscrapers were unable to appear in v0.3 due to the wrong parameter.
- switch did not set green after load when trains were in the station
- there was a way how a train could take passengers twice (means that there was a negative number of passengers in the city as a result)
- train's coaches appeared on the different rail in the station after the train's upgrade.

We are happy to announce a new patch for Transport Services. We hope you will enjoy it!
There are key changes:
- Rendering & physics optimization ( we made the game way smoother especially for the late game )
- Chain signals for rails. Now you modify the signal to be "block", "one way" or "chain". Chain signals set red for all the chained segments along the train path to make sure, it is able to leave your critical segment without letting other trains enter it from other directions.
- Improved rail preview & rail build type selection.
- Making towns bigger is now way easier. And you will get faster highrises and skyscrapers. To balance this effect we made a revelation of cities after 12th one slower. On the other hand, the 3rd city reveals faster, than in previous versions.
- Fixed known cases, when train animation did not fit the rail shape.
- Signals are now also physical objects.
- Fixed issue, when bus or truck could leave the station with wrong the animations until entering another station.
- Minimap now also shows roads as well.
- Minimap functions changed, left clicking on the city will move the camera, meanwhile, right click will look camera in direction to that city without moving
- Added +- buttons over minimap, so you can use it aside +- keys to zoom minimap.
How chain signal works:
Since this patch each switch has 3 modes:
- block signal - is green, when no other train is on the path in the opposite direction
- chain signal (extra arrows) - is green, when no other train is on the path in the opposite direction on each following chain segment until reaching block signal or station. Also if the last signal before the station is a chain. It will not allow entering any train without booking free rail on the following station. (so it makes sure, it will not get stuck on the segment, which is the way of the trains on the station and preventing them to leave the station)
- one way signal - never is green, this can ensure that trains will not enter one-way paths in the wrong direction.
Hello players, Today we will release another hotfix, which will repair issues on loading reported on Discord by players "JohnH" and "virtulis". Thank you guys for pointing us on the issues and sending your save files. - Sadly JohnH's issue fix will take an effect only with new games started since this fix. Patch will be released later this day.
Hello in this patch we have added some small missing features and improved visual problems of the game. List of Changes: - Minimap now shows always on top of the GUI (but lower than tooltips). - Minimap hides when Menu is displayed (except the menu button & buttons on the menu) and appears back once the menu is closed. - Railroads are displayed on the minimap. - Airship tooltip fixed (it said it is a little plane, which obviously really isn't) - switch arrows merge. There could be multiple arrows pointing at the same rail. Now they display and are managed by a single arrow for multiple switches, for which is this direction common. - minimap scales at all game speed the same (+/- or page up/page down) - The camera does not move away when the game is alt-tabed hope you will like this small fix. Glad to inform you, that we are releasing a new patch of Transport Services. It took a little bit longer than expected. Nevertheless, it is finished. There are many changes and improvements si there is a list of them: - We changed visuals of the buildings as we got a lot of feedback they look too much prototype-like. We hope you will like the new look. - We changed the medium & big city grew faster than before. So they are easier to achieve. This leads also to lower passenger ratio per capita. To remain somehow balanced. - We added new kind of buildings: hi-rises & expanded city areas for medium and big cities. - Airships! They are slower than planes but can carry a lot of passengers (42) at the same time as resources (only aerial resource transport). And they are really huge. - Planes capacity increased for the basic plane to 16 (from 10) and advanced plane to 28 (from 24) to better reflect demands. - Minimap. With interactive city buttons which point your camera at the selected city. Also displays the color of the city and type of product. - City colors are brighter for better readability. - Many fixes related again to the rail & bus traffic. - Tunnels for road vehicles and trains. Now you can dig through the mountains to save the commute time. - Rails preview the shape of curves. Rail preview also gets red, when it detects any obstacle which prevents the construction. - Tooltips work even with the paused game. - And many other minor fixes and tweaks were made... ;) I hope you will like the patch. We are glad to hear any feedback from you. Just we have to note, that we changed a lot of stuff and you will not be able to load your older saves (as we noticed hotfix before). Sorry for that inconvenience, we believe that from now up to the release version (which again will have a lot of huge feature changes) all saves will be able to load through future patches and hotfixes again. And one more note. We have to apologize that we have to focus more after a long time again on our other game World of Castles, where our players wait too long for the next patch. So we will have to finish the next patch for WoC first before we start working on more new and cool features for Transport Services again. Sorry that, our small team cannot divide into two separate teams to work simultaneously on both projects at one time. I hope you understand. List of changes: -FIXED: curved junctions displayed switch arrows on wrong positions. -FIXED: trains could change the route after load. -FIXED: trains would not stop when passing by a station without any empty way. -FIXED: there was an option of how to build something when clicking on GUI. -FIXED: curved junctions could be disconnected by a bug. -FIXED: error on load, when it was trying to load specific junctions (which saved incorrectly). - IMPROVED: breaking power of trains to stop before the rail switch. Hello everyone, today we are releasing so-called "Train hotfix". It means, that everything should run better again - mainly trains. List of changes - FIXED: various crashes on loading the game (disappeared trains/roads etc.) - FIXED: trains stay on trains stations forever. - FIXED: Rail switches might break the train route. - FIXED: depots might have 2 roads, which lead to broken saves. - FIXED: loading abandoned building, and then removing caused an error. - IMPROVED: train pathfinding response faster to path changes. - IMPROVED: train will continue the path after is freed. - IMPROVED: vehicles turning right, or leaving the bus station, will not get jammed by opposite vehicles. - IMPROVED: trains will lock rail blocks, where it has the only option to go to the destination. - ADDED: yellow color to the switches. Which means temporarily locked by any train on the following rail block. This patch should load your old saves, even though you were not able to load them due to errors. ( Saves made from incorrectly loaded games - as missing vehicles, revealed city count etc. Will not probably load correctly as you tried to save corrupted data) Anyway, we feel now that saves are stable and the game works more as intended. So we would like to announce that we will start implementing some requested features and next patch will have more visible changes. Just sadly I have to announce, that future patch will not have the save compatibility with previous versions as it will contain buildings rework. Status: Released
Bus issues solved. Glad to inform you, that we have found the cause of rotating buses on stations and fixed that most annoying issue. Besides that, we updated bus navigation system, which now predicts the shortest way. Which also removes some rotating buses on circuits on the streets of cities. The list is pretty short. On the other hand very crucial for road transportation. Status: Released

We were not able to fix all the issues, which were reported over last days. Some critical ones remain. Just as that means we will have to rework train pathfinding, it can affect various part of the code and to ensure it will work correctly it might take a few days. Thanks for the patience. Added features: Camera rotation with Q,E keys. Passengers can switch vehicle 2x instead of 1x. Fixed features: - bus pathfinding, when leaving the station could return the wrong road (probably cause of bus rotations around stations) - planes could take passengers from the destination city. - side movement & mouse scroll is affected by shift key (faster movement) - wagons are no longer derailed after the game loads. - rails with red switches will no longer block way completely when there is a way. - flames particles scaled correctly. - bus max pathfinding distance increased to not discard long ways to more distant cities. Warnings: - data how passengers, which will switch vehicle changed and so after loading saves prior to the patch might take few vehicle stations stops before they collect correct data again. It just results, that passenger might not leave the vehicle at the correct city, before taking other passengers of that color. - Trains with more complex routes are still bugged. We will use dynamic calculations to prevent the issues, with some incorrect stored or not well-actualized path data. Status: Online

We are really sorry, this delay is also very surprising to us. As we wanted to press release the game at the time, which was approved by the steam. Instead of the green button [release], we got a warning, that the game is not long time enough visible on the steam store. So earliest possible release day is 24th. January... Hmmm, it seems like we have no other option than to listen to the steam warning. We are really sorry about that. At least we can test it more...

About this Game
In transport services, you take on the task of providing transport for goods or passengers among contracted cities. Cities reveal as you play, which brings new needs for passengers. As you care for your passengers your cities grow and produce more passengers and there is a lot of waiting passengers, you will have to pay back some tickets and your city might lose its shine as people do not want to live in a city cut off to civilization. Also once your city reaches a bigger size, you will build a factory producing resources, which you can distribute into your other cities to make a profit.You will be able to build roads for buses and trucks, as the cheapest variant for the short distances. Rails for trains to travel longer routes with huge capacities or airfields with planes for very picky passengers, that are designed for an even longer distance of travel.
Game features:
- 3 game difficulties. Where easy means s stress-free game without any punishments for overcrowded stations while on the opposite side, hard mode is pretty challenging on how far you can get before you go bankrupt, then there’s normal mode which is for everyone who wants to have some responsibility, but does not want let the game punish them too much.
- procedurally generated world
- dynamically growing cities from few houses up to the city full of skyscrapers! And it is all done by the way you care for your cities needs!
- Simple passengers. There are cities of some colors and passengers of another color inside them. Which means that the passenger of its color wants to travel to the city of his color.
- Simple product consumption. Move products to all cities, where they’re not produced. Make sure all cities have as many kinds of products as you can deliver. They pay you more if you satisfy all city needs, rather than transporting just one sort of product.
- Trains, planes, buses, and trucks...tooot! tooot!

This is an early access game. There are bugs!!! We are glad we are able to make the fully featured game, unfortunately, it will take some patches to catch them all. Thanks for the patience. Extra features are planned (water, bridges, tunnels), but we are not promising any deadlines as we plan to focus a majority of our developing time on our main project “World of Castles”, But bug fixes for transport services will still be a high priority.
