Greetings to our gaming community!

Though we don't always good in communication, we continually strive to enhance our game, ensuring the best possible experience for you. Our long-awaited major update is finally here! As promised, we present:

Plus dozens of fixes and improvements. Here are some highlights:


  • Tweaks for airline capacity
  • Adjustments for aircraft lifespan, making it more realistic. Cargo aircraft versions serve longer, while passenger ones are replaced sooner with more modern ones
  • External traffic, including city buses now match the time. We've finally allowed citizens to have something other than those ancient wooden moto-wheelchairs.
  • All known issues with traffic stuck are fixed.
  • Parking service crashes also fixed.

Now to something we haven't announced before:

Yes, we've finally done it. With research, you can now unlock the schedule and place flights (that allow it) during nighttime. All machines now have headlights, houses have lit lamps and windows. The runway and taxiway lighting also works at night! And planes turn on their lights in the dark too! We're thrilled to finally present this to you.

Night flights are more than just a visual enhancement. Changes also affect airline policies. Cargo companies now offer more night flights or unrestricted flights. Passenger ones, especially international ones, prefer morning and evening hours more.

Bug fixes and New Features Reveal

Hello everyone!

We continue to debug and address issues within the game. You can find detailed changes (not just bug fixes) below. But for now, we'd like to share some new features that will appear in the game on June 30th.

[h3]Improved New Game window and Starter Airports[/h3]



This will be especially beneficial for novice players. Now, in each epoch, you can start not from scratch but with a small, albeit ready-made, airport. At this airport, all the necessary equipment has already been hired, and all the ramps are linked. You can literally start signing contracts, scheduling and accepting flights immediately.

[h3]Arrival Stack[/h3]



Many people (us included) have gotten tired of notifications that one flight or another was canceled, even when the flight hadn't even landed. Yes, some situations were due to bugs, and we have fixed them.

However, often the reason that prevents the plane from landing is game-related. Therefore, we decided to introduce the Arrival Stack feature. This feature is based on real-life practices. If a plane can't land, it's sent to fly in circles in a certain area. Planes that are flying a hold make up the arrival stack. Now information about such flights is displayed in a special panel, which provides additional details, including the blocker.

And now you can always see what prevents a certain plane from landing. This information significantly simplifies understanding and the process of airport optimization.

[h3]Terminal Decorations[/h3]



Ever since we released the custom terminal, we've been receiving many requests about the terminal being empty and needing more objects. As we are very busy fixing bugs, we do not have enough capacity to implement a lot of new mechanics. However, we will manage to add decorations to embellish the airport. Now custom terminals will be even more personalized.

[h3]Modern All-in-One Terminal and Remote Gates[/h3]



The second most popular request related to terminals was about bringing back modern All-in-One terminals. Not everyone enjoys fussing over planning and construction. For such players, we will prepare a new terminal building and remote gates, which (implied that it is automatically) are connected to one of the main buildings. This approach will allow for more flexible and diverse airports.

[h3]One more thing[/h3]

Our primary focus right now is on stability and performance. So, we won't promise anything more. However, we might manage to implement one more feature, which will be a surprise. Try to guess in the comments, it will be interesting to see who turns out to be right;)

We're excited to unveil a robust plan of action with a series of updates aimed at enhancing your gaming experience. This plan includes both extensive bug fixes and several improvements, and we're confident it will address your concerns.

Today we deliver the first update with fixes for the most annoying bugs. See details below.

The next update scheduled on June 7th, focused on resolving more complex and "hard-to-reproduce" bugs.

Our team continues to work on the game. Despite all the difficulties, we try to improve your experience. This patch contains the result of work on bugs and performance improvements. And finally, we are happy to introduce localization mods.

Hello guys, please, check the last experimental build, we have fixed some critical issues and made some optimizations. If the build will be stable, we will switch it to the default branch in a couple of days. Also, we will check the reported issues.

Next week we plan to release localization mods support, so, everyone will be able to fix some localization issues, and create a new one for any language. We also working on switching the project from a built-in render pipeline to a universal render pipeline and plan to release it soon as well.

Now, our main performance bottleneck is passengers. We're working on optimizing passengers' models, and passengers' actions.

Sky Haven 1.0

Dear all,

This is the last call! Looks like the time has come! After years of development, we are pleased to present the full release of Sky Haven!

Starting in 1916, you can go all the way to the 21st century. Along with the development of technology, aviation, and technology, you will need to improve and develop the airport.

What does mean Full Release?
Not all of our ideas have been implemented in the game yet, and therefore the release does not mean the end of development. We will continue to work on fixing bugs if they appear and on adding new mechanics and content.

Keep in touch
Over the past years of development, we have gone through a long and challenging path. Barely possible to imagine how we would complete it without community participation. Thank you all for your support and feedback.

Hello there!

After long and rigorous testing, we are now ready to roll out our biggest update yet! A new stage for the game with a new era of aviation.

First of all, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to our community. Your efforts in beta testing this update have been invaluable. This release would hardly have been possible without you.

[h3]New era[/h3]
Meet the heyday of the turbojet era and the massive emergence of large wide-body aircraft. This means even more passengers and cargo. To serve such a large flow, you need a well-established infrastructure. Therefore, we have added more research on modern facilities and vehicles.

Finally, we've added more modern cargo facilities for the past and new eras. Now cargo liners can be unloaded not in a building from 1930, but in a more modern facility with a bigger number of unloading spots.

[h3]New user terminal feature[/h3]
One of the most anticipated features is here. Now you can plan and build a terminal with as many gates as you need. The terminal can be built with a rectangle tool or a poly tool for more complex shapes. The already built terminal can be edited, changing its shape to achieve the required shapes and sizes.

In addition, passengers themselves finally pick up their luggage from the baggage belts. We've also added amenities to satisfy the needs of passengers: Coffee, Newspapers, an Info booth, and others.

[h3]Bug fixes and performance improvements[/h3]
We once again thank everyone who has been with us for these months in the beta branch.

We managed to significantly improve performance (and we will improve it a little more very soon), reduce the size of save files, and fixed literally hundreds of bugs.

Intermediate Dev Update #1

Hi there.

It looks like you you've been waiting for an update a bit a lot. And if you're angry about it, you have every right to be. So, first of all, we are very sorry about that. Also, we appreciate your patience and support very much. The community is much better than we could expect.

Lets pour some light on the situation and the near future.

As you may know, we are working on the big update which includes:


  • Custom terminal building
  • PAX delivery to the airport
  • New era 1970-2000

Our initial the final plan was to release the update no later than February. But we still didnt make it happen due to several reasons. Some of them are not directly related to development but have a great impact on the team. But of course, the main issue here is that update is still required extra work.

The content is more or less is in the game and works fine. PAX delivery works almost every time. Meanwhile, terminal building tools generate a lot of situations that have to be handled. Day by day we test and fix all of that.





What's next? Ourcurrentplan is to deliver the update to the beta branch next week. If the plan will be changed, this time we will notify the community.

Major update is coming

Hello all,

A long time has passed since the last patch. Some of you could think that we are getting rest on vacation. This is not even close to reality. We work all these months and are almost ready to present you a new patch,

There are some minor tasks to complete before delivery. But we can't wait anymore and want to share some sneak-peeks.

The first and the main feature is the custom terminal building. We used to have it in the very early versions. Some of you could see it in early gameplay videos and in exhibition play demos.

Later we (temporary) cut that feature out to increase development and deliver a playable stable game.

Now we introduce completely new, remade from a scratch building system, Hope you enjoy this short clip and in-game feature in the next update.

Hey everyone! Here is a small update but with important fixes of the game stability. Last month our team was working on important features such as a new flight generator, airline contracts UI, flight contracts UI, terminal constructing, new terrain, Chinese localization, airport decorations, and fixes for this small update.

Not all features are ready yet and we still working on them. Next week we plan an update with the Chinese localization, new flight generator and terminal decorations. Also, we plan to make a new beta branch to let players test terminal construction (without terminal services for now)

All these features we plan to finalize in Jule. Also, we will try to add a new era to make progress until 2000. But there is a chance that the new era will be available in August.

March update status

Hey everyone!
It is time to give you some new info about the development state. The first thing we have to say is that we still need more time to finalize and test some new features and that we're sorry for the delay, but the update will be on the 9th of March.

Since the last dev update, we finished the new game window (where you may configure your starting settings), improved the new object info panel(where you may see a lot of info about any object), implemented a new building window (where you may manage your vehicles much easier). We also improved the game graphics (better lights, better colors, better post-process settings), finalized a new day/night cycle(now sun and moon have their own trajectories and shadows look better). And of course, we were just polishing and testing the build.

Current progress

Hey guys,

We want to share with you the current state of the development and our short-term plans. Also, we want to share such plans more regularly.

For the last few weeks, we were working on an actual interactive game tutorial, localization, UI improvements, some optimizations, and bug fixes. Even though the technical part for localization and tutorial are done, we still need to translate the game for a number of languages and adjust the tutorial. Also, we implemented a new UI panel that provides a lot of information about every object in the game.

Next week we will start working on a new deadlock resolving algorithm, which should prevent blockage of airplanes and other vehicles (but it will take some time). Also, we plan to introduce a new window and some parameters for a new game such as start year, start balance, game progress speed.

We already slightly improved our game visuals, but want to improve more, the difference will not be huge but should be somewhat better. Regarding the next update, we made a lot of changes, and now we need to test them before the release, so it will take some more time. There is a chance that we will make a little update with bug fixes in the release branch, but for now, we plan this big update for the 1st of March.

If you have been waiting for Sky Haven for a long time and want to try out the game and see all of its mechanics as they are, you are welcome to do so now. By doing an Early Access release, we hope to get more feedback and get the right direction for further development and polishing.

Whats next?

There is a long way ahead. We keep working and improving the game. A lot of new content and mechanics will be added. In the nearest future, we will publish a roadmap with our planned milestones. We encourage you to participate in discord and forum discussions and let us know your thoughts.

Sky Haven Demo available!

The full game will be released soon and now we are happy to let you play the Sky Haven Demo. In this version full gameplay from 1916 to 1940 is available. Though this is not a full game, the demo lets you experience the base gameplay features: construction, research, service management, and flight planning.

However please note that the game is in development and some performance and stability issues are possible. If you want to get a polished game please wait till the full release.

New release date and demo

Hello all!

Today we decided to move the release by 30 days, to November 28th.

Understanding your disappointment and frustration, first of all, we apologize. We understand this being upsetting for everyone, but we are confident that the frustration of a non-working game is much worse.

Apologies aside, this is not all we have for you.

In the coming days, as soon as the approval passes, a free demo version for everyone will appear on Steam. The demo version will be available for the period of the game from 1916 to 1940. Keep in mind that this is not the final version and it does not include all the functionality, you will still be able to feel the game and it may be easier for you to wait for the actual release.

Open Beta Release

Hi everyone!

No release in 2020Q3 took place. The stability and completion of features, unfortunately, did not allow this to happen. We have underestimated how much 2020 has impacted our productivity and plans.

We understand that this situation may upset you and we understand your anger. It is well deserved. All we can do is work even harder and still release the game as quickly as possible.

The whole team understands this and we are working on the game with maximum intensity. All efforts are thrown into the game, even at the expense of communication (sorry again). All we need is a little more time.

However, realizing our commitment to the community, we decided to set a specific release date. And so, Open Beta Release will be on the 28th of October 2020. This is the final date.

The last update

Hello all!

Our sudden update is here. Last month we focused on the big update Take Off. The name means this will be the Early Access/Public Beta update.

Basic side traffic. Pax and resources arriving from the external world.
Custom terminal building. There will be (yet) limited tools. Though still enough for custom terminal planning.
Internal objects: Entrance, Gate, Checkin, and several booths.
Playable to 1970. Sunset of the propeller aircraft era and jetliners.
Some small extra features we don't want disclosure yet. Surprise.

So when?

The year turned out to be very rich in trials. Both global and local, associated only with our team. This left its mark on our roadmap. We had to sacrifice certain functionality that will still be added in future releases.

We are often asked about specific release dates. We avoid specific dates just because we don't want to let you down.

However, we are still planning to prepare a release in 2020Q3! Our backers will be the first to get the build, and if everything goes well the game will be released on Steam!

Last week was just amazing! Together with the community we kept track of the goal achievement and got so much support on social networks. Yes, we did it together!

Sky Haven on the way

Hello all!

What an amazing month! Our Kickstarter campaign is approaching its goal. 8 days left and 20% left to get.

First of all, thank you all for your support. It is so incredibly motivating. This month is one of our most productive ones!

We started to share the pre-Alpha#01 with YouTubers so gameplay videos will appear more frequently. We will post on our Twitter all the links we will find.

We are happy to announce that far more half of the goal is reached.

Meanwhile, the team is working hard on Alpha#1 and it's coming very soon.

We would like to share more information about the in-game world and details. There are four airlines in the game. Each of them specializes in different transportations.

Orville Airmail is the first one we want to tell about.

It was founded by famous Orville Wright. The airline uses simple and reliable aircraft to deliver urgent mail. Most of these airplanes don't need complex handling so only minimum services are required. On the other hand, Orville Airmail has a lot of flights.



The next Company we will reveal will be Royal Postmaster's Office.

You probably know our team has been working on airport tycoon Sky Haven for several years. We have come a long way. This was a pretty hard but interesting and exciting path. Now the time has come for the next step.

The game grew up and many features were implemented and a lot of features to be done. We want to share the experience of the game now and together with your thoughts and feedback polish the gameplay to its fullest.

Project complexity is challenging but we dont want to get rid of its core features. We love the game and believe together with the community we can make it.

Whats next
A lot of updates. Last year we kept in a secret a lot of our work because we were not sure if we can make it and didnt want to let you down with empty promises. Now we confident that we can. We have already done almost all the path and with your support, we will make the great game.
