important note to macos users + firefox users: don't run the web build of this game, it will probably crash your browser (or at least stall infinitely).

everyone else: the web build might not work anyways if anything weird happens just use one of the downloadable builds

also: this game isn't nearly done yet ! i'm not really sure what counts as "done" but there will definitely (probably) be semi-frequent updates for the next while

spinny game remastered is a physics-based speedrunning puzzle platformer where you move by applying torque to the player, similar to games such as "marble blast gold" and "other game". the game is mostly focused around exploring how the player's movement controller interacts with other physics objects like boxes and pinned platforms. the speedrunning parts are less focused around "press every button at the exact right time" and are more about routing.

controls are all mentioned ingame, unless you're on a controller in which case about half of the controls are bound to the worst spots possible (and the other half aren't bound at all).

the game currently has 16 levels, each with a gold time (and 4 other gold things). there are also a ton of secrets which are currently useless but which will unlock things in the near future. it is inadvisable to try to find & complete everything in the game -- i've made sure to include things that are nearly impossible to find in the hopes of deterring completionists from completionisting. just like play spinny game until you no longer want to play spinny game and then cease to play spinny game. or something like that. i worry that including this piece of advice will encourage people to play the game for two minutes and decide it's not for them before even getting to the "real" part of the game, but nobody is going to read this text anyways.
