Easter has arrived again in Damascus (albeit a bit late) and with it comes the and even larger bunny infestation Damascus than before. We are looking to you players to help control the number of bunnies as they are everywhere. Of course these bunnies do have some lovely goodies that they drop once you have killed them. There are also a range of 64 items that can be opened from the Easter Egg with 6 of the items being a different coloured warm hat. 5 new cosmetics have also been added to Shalk's Cosmetic Store and 2 older ones have been brought back. The Basket of Eggs has replaced the Ugly Sweater, the Sexy Bunny Ears have replaced the Scream Mask, the Sexy Bunny One Piece has replaced Mr Snowman, the Bunny Ears have replaced the Forest Demon Mask, the Egg Head has replaced the Snowy Christmas Ring, the Carrot Blade has replaced the Snowy Ring and the Easter Jon Suit has replaced the Flower Ring. Galactic Frontier Kickstarter Event!

Patch 1.31 - Galactic Frontier Kickstarter Event!



Today is an auspicious occasion for us at Team Teal. We are starting a kickstarter campaign to raise money to fund Galactic Frontier, a game we have been working on alongside Damascus.
To celebrate this we decided to create an event in Damascus, with the items that get dropped having a space theme to them. The event is simple. Around the world are 3 types of enemies of various levels and killing them will drop the cosmetics. But we didn't stop there. Because we felt you deserved more so we actually created a 4 level dungeon which is actually a bunker, a lost remnant of a world long forgotten. Here you will encounter 4 kinds of robotic enemies, the likes of no one in Damascus has seen before. And at the end of the dungeon is Decimus of the Machine Plague, a multi combat boss with some spicy mechanics and juicy drops. We'd really appreciate the support with the Kickstarter. + Started the Galactic Frontier Kickstarter Event. It will run for 2 weeks. + In celebration of the event every person who logs in will get the first pet Brobot deposited in their Wardrobe. + Jimbos have been added to the game. Their combat level is 4 and they attack with melee. + Babooms have been added to the game. Their combat level is 19 and they attack with melee. + Claw Bots have been added to the game. Their combat level is 102 and they attack with melee. + Injectors have been added to the game. Their combat level is 138 and they attack with psychic. + Decimus of the Machine Plague has been added to the game. He is a multicombat boss. His combat level is 730 and attacks in 2 stages. The first stage is range and the second stage is psychic, with a special psychic ability that can hit up to 3 players from distance. + A Bunker has been added to the game in the north west of Dominia. This is a multicombat area and has 4 levels to it. All enemies are aggro. Enemies also have a 1 minute respawn time (excluding boss) in the Bunker. + A Dungeon Crate has been added just outside this bunker. If you die in the dungeon your items will be transported to the crate and players will have to pay the alch value to get them back. DIMs do not have access to the crate so if they die in the dungeon their items will be dropped on the floor. + Add the Ray Gun to the game. It requires level 80 to equip and is a range weapon. It has a 1 in 300 drop chance from Decimus. + Added Energy Cells to the game. They are the ammo required for the Ray Gun. All enemies in the Bunker drop different amounts of these. + Added the Psy Sabre to the game. It requires level 80 in psychic to equip. It has a melee attack distance. It comes in 5 different colours. Each colour Psy Sabre has a 1 in 1500 drop chance against Decimus which equates to a 1 in 300 chance to get a Psy Sabre. + Added Focal Lens' to the game. These can get used on a Psy Sabre to change its colour. They come in 5 different colours. Using a Focal Lens on a Psy Sabre will consume the Focal Lens. + Gave all dungeons slightly brighter lighting.

Bug Fixes


+ Fixed a bug where equipping an item in the shield slot with Cursed Claws equipped would result in the player losing their charges. + Fixed a bug where players could use the actuators in their Actuator Pouch if it was in the bank. + Fixed a bug where rings would not drop on death.

Christmas Event!



Christmas has arrived once again and boy do we have a present for you guys. We are releasing Damascus' 20th skill today! Jewellery has arrived just in time for the festive season. So get on down and get crafting!
As well as Jewellery we have our classic Christmas update for you guys. The elves have been busy in Damascus however yet again they seem to be missing some of their presents. They've been hard at work at various places in Damascus and presents have been popping up all over the place.
There have been 2 activities that reportedly drop presents. Once a player has travelled a certain distance a present will be dropped at their feet. The other method is more active. When players use an Anvil, Furnace, Fletching Table, Mechanics Table, Explosives Bench, Cooking Range or Jewellery Crafting Station, there is a 1 in 16 chance that a Christmas Present will appear in your bank. These Christmas Presents have lovely new cosmetics inside them. There are also a range of 64 items that can be opened from the Christmas Stocking with 6 of the items being a different coloured sweater. 4 new cosmetics have also been added to Shalk's Cosmetic Store. The Ugly Sweater has replaced the Chicken Head, Mr Snowman has replaced the Witch Hat, the Snowy Christmas Ring has replaced the Rainbow Man and the Snowy Ring has replaced Super Luci. Balance Changes


+ Weapon Stalls now give a variety of weapons when stolen from. There is a 1 in 100 chance of getting E. Gold, a 2 in 100 chance of getting E. Copper, a 4 in 100 chance of getting Psywood, an 8 in 100 chance of getting Steel, a 16 in 100 chance of getting Iron, a 32 in 100 chance of getting Bronze and a 37 in 100 chance of getting Copper. Halloween Event!

Halloween Event!



Halloween has once again arrived in Damascus. Its the most polarising event to grace Damascus. Some people absolutely love it, others cant handle it. It is the classic Stealing and Farming event as well as 4 new cosmetic items at Shalk's Store. A quick refresher for the event. All the enemies in the game whom you can pickpocket have extra Skullkin Seeds in their pockets. There is a 1 in 8 chance of pickpocketing 1 of these seeds. You can now also steal this seeds from any of the stalls around Damascus. However there is a 1 in 16 chance of stealing 1 of these seeds. You can then use them on farming allotments to grow Skullkins! After an hour a Skullkin will be ready for harvest which you can open to get this year's Halloween cosmetics.
These are the items and the relevant drop rates: 1/10 - Commerative Coin 1/25 - Skeleton Boots 1/50 - Skeleton Gloves 1/100 - Skeleton Bottoms 1/200 - Skeleton Top 1/400 - Doot Flute 1/500 - Skeleton Cloak Shalky's Cosmetic Store has gotten 4 new Halloween themed items. + Started the Halloween Event. + Players will be able to plant their Pumpkin Seeds from last year however it will grow Pumpkins with last year's cosmetics. + Have made enemies that can be pickpocketed have their default left click action be "Pickpocket" and if the player right clicks the enemy they shall see the option to "Attack". + Added a left click option to "Teleport" for the Awakened Blood Bull Skull. + Shalk's Cosmetic Store has new stock! + Fixed a bug where players with a Survival level below 70 would not get the bonus Survival levels when cooking while having the Chef Apron equipped. + Fixed a bug where if a player alchs noted items the item would be unnoted on the client side. + Fixed a bug where players who are not members could use the teleport spells to teleport to members areas. + Fixed a bug with a player's trading card collection where players could not right click on foils that had not been collected yet.

Questing Update!

Questing Update! - Patch 1.28



The much anticipated Quest Update is finally live! We've added 7 new quests, a whole host of new items, a new cave dungeon, a complete overhaul to the guildwork skill and a new boss fight. So far this has been the biggest update we've ever done for Damascus and we are very excited to share it with you all! Guildwork can now be done with skilling! Contracts award guild points which can be spent at the Guild Master in Dominia, go check it out!

Players now have the option to either choose a combat contract or a skilling contract for Guildwork. The combat contracts work the same as before. With skilling contracts, players are now given a choice of 3 skills. They then receive 3 tasks of varying difficulty in the skill they chose. Players are awarded Guildwork Points for completing a task. Players get 10 points for an easy task, 20 points for a hard task, 30 points for a hard task and 50 points for a boss task. Players can spend these points at the Guildmaster. + Players who trained Guildwork prior to this patch will receive points equal to their Guildwork exp / 2000. + Added the Guildmaster to the game. Bug Fixes


+ Fixed a bug where if the player's Survival level was lower than 30 they would not receive the extra 30 invisible levels when cooking with a Chef Hat. + Fixed a bug where the Chef Hat would not work when cooking on a fire. + Fixed a bug where the northernmost Gold Rock by Cactorio was incorrectly placed. + Fixed a typo in the Destruction tooltip for Psychic Pulse and Kinetic Pulse. + Fixed a bug where having men or women as your Guildwork task would not count certain men and women towards your task. + Fixed a bug where players could not finish the Smuggling Situation quest.

Balance Changes


+ Replaced the Damascus Pickaxe with the Damascus Scimitar on the Demon Prince drop table. + Replaced the Plasma Belt with the Cursed Claws on the Cursed Yeti drop table. + Have reworked the way multi combat drops work. Any player qualifies for a guaranteed drop once they have inflicted damage greater or equal to 5% of the enemy's max health. This guaranteed drop does not include the boss-specific rare drops. Everyone who inflicted more than the 5% threshold will qualify for a chance to get the boss-specific rare drop with the players who dealt the most damage getting the highest chance and the players who dealt the least getting the lowest chance. Only one player will get a roll for the boss-specific drop.

Happy 1 year year anniversary! We can't believe its been a year since you reprobates started no lifing Damascus alongside of us. Big thanks to everyone who has supported us since the beginning and welcome to the new players who have stayed and continued to love the game. We have a rather special update planned today. We have taken in art from the community and have created an update with some of that art included. We had over 90 submissions which was absolutely awesome so big thanks to all who submitted something. We have 4 different enemies we require players to slay. The classic Hat Demon, the Mutated Frogman, the Skelly Spider and the Pheonix. They are dotted around the world awaiting to be slain. Of course some lovely rewards will be dropped from these enemies for your pleasure.

Ferrymen are offering travel to the dangerous and illustrious Punk Hazzard. An island on the East coast of Rogues Rest that is treacherous to travel to due to the many islands which cause shipwrecks. Punk Hazzard is a cursed island where toxic gasses constantly plague the locals, however amongst all the danger there are many treasure to be found!

They require level 35 in Mining to mine and players need pots in their inventory to mine them. + Sulphur Deposits have been added to the game. They can be found at Punk Hazard. Friends List Update!

Patch 1.23



Friends list baby! It is a truly momentous occasion. The long awaited friends list has been added. You and your mates will be able to have some quality banter in game without having to be in the same vicinity as each other. With this comes a revamp of the chat menu as well as the ability to ignore other players which essentially mutes any player that might get on your nerves. The friends list is rather simple. You can either add a friend through the social tab or you can right click on another player and add them through the "Add Friend" option. When both you and your friend have added each other you will then be able to see when they are online and gain the ability to private message each other. You can message your friends by clicking on their username in the friends list when they are online (green for online, red for offline). The chat has also undergone a rework. There are now 4 different categories of chat. Game chat (which shows in game notifications), public chat (which shows chat from players in their vicinity), private chat (which shows a player's private messages to their friends) and all chat (which shows all of the above in one chat). Players can also use the "tab" key to switch between their current private chats with their friends. 5 new cosmetics as well as 3 previous popular cosmetics have been added to Shalk's Cosmetic Store. The Chicken Ring has replaced the Ring of Wool, the Shield of Love has replace the Reindeer Antlers, the Cat Ears have replaced the Goblin Outfit, the Ghost Outfit has replaced the Candy Cane Sword, the Big River Staff has replaced the Demon Tail, the Cloak of Romance has replaced the Krampus Mask, Super Luci has replaced the All White Cape and the Jon Suit has replaced the Ring of Christmas. Ironman Modes! - Patch 1.22

We have gone and done it boys and girls. Various Ironman modes have been added to the game. We have le standard Ironman, le Hardcore Ironman, le Demonic Ironman and finally for the madlads, le Hardcore Demonic Ironman. Players will be able to choose which mode to player once they have outfitted their character in the Character Creation menu after creating a new account. The details are as follows: An Ironman cannot trade with other players, cannot trade on the Damascus Exchange and cannot pick up items dropped by other players. However they are able to trade bonds. Below is the Ironman cosmetic armour:
A Hardcore Ironman has the same restrictions as an Ironman except that they only have 1 life. If they die they lose their hardcore status and become an Ironman. Below is the Hardcore Ironman cosmetic armour:

It's that time of the year again. The Christmas season has come to Damascus and do we have a treat for you. The elves have been busy in Damascus however they have seem to be missing some of their presents. They've been hard at work at various places in Damascus and presents have been popping up all over the place. There have been 2 activities that reportedly drop presents. Once a player has travelled a certain distance a present will be dropped at their feet. The other method is more active. When players use an Anvil, Furnace, Fletching Table, Mechanics Table, Explosives Bench or Cooking Range, there is a 1 in 16 chance that a Christmas Present will appear instead of the items you were making. When opening a present you have a chance to get some unique Christmas items! Cosmetic Coin - 1 in 32 Christmas Stocking - 1 in 64 Santa Boots - 1 in 128 Santa Pants - 1 in 256 Santa Top - 1 in 512 Santa Hat - 1 in 1024 Christmas Cloak - 1 in 2048 There are also a range of 64 items that can be opened from the Christmas Stocking with 6 of the items being a different coloured beanie. 4 new cosmetics have also been added to Shalk's Cosmetic Store. The Reindeer Antlers have replaced the Pirate Bandanna, the Candy Cane Sword has replaced the Ghost Outfit, the Krampus Mask has replaced the Ring of Slime and the Ring of Christmas has replaced the Bearington Outfit. Multicombat has arrived to Damascus! A new island has been discovered to the north of Cactorio and the Guilds have taken to conquering new land. However enemies do not respect the honourable 1 on 1 combat that we are all used. It is the survival of the fittest. The guild is having a bit of trouble subjagating the inhabitants of the island. They discovered a broken down portal where the Demon Prince and his Lieutenants are and urgently need assistance. There are said to be grand rewards for slaying the Demon Prince and even his Lieutenants have a few themselves. They have also found some Corrupted Rocks which can be mined to get Demonic Shards. Below are the Demon Prince and his Lieutenants:



Notable drops include the Demonic Scimitar, the Demonic Crossbow and the Demonic Staff. These weapons are charged weapons. This means that they only output damage if they are charged. You charge the weapons with Demonic Shards. Attacking with a charged weapon uses up 1 charge. Their drop rates can be found below: *These are the drops for the Demon Prince. Each Lieutenant drops 1 of these weapons chosen according to their attack type at a drop rate of 1 in 1000. 4 new cosmetics have also been added to Shalk's Cosmetic Store. The Ring of Wool has replaced the Fireworks Package, the Goblin Outfit has replaced the Potato Head, the Demon Tail has replaced the Big River Staff and the All White Cloak has replaced the Big River Cloak. If you use the Psyvial then the left click option on the Roast Meat will be "Use" instead of "Eat". + Noting Machines have been added to the 3 new f2p farming allotments. + A new Farming Store has been added to Port Haven so that F2P players have access to farming tools and allotment seeds. + Have increased the quantity of allotment seeds at farming stores by a factor of 10. + Have added a "Travel/Teleport" option for npcs like the Mage and the Ferryman. + Have finally added the damage bonus for the Demon Slayer Katana when fighting demons. It adds +2 to the min damage and +5 to the max damage. + Have added a boss drop message for when a player kills a boss and gets a drop.

Halloween Event! New Cosmetics to collect as well as new Bosses!

Patch 1.18 - Halloween Event!



Halloween has arrived in Damascus. We were cutting it late but it is finally here. In preparation for Halloween Damascus has been getting ready. We have a special Halloween event put together involving Stealing and Farming along with 4 new cosmetic items at Shalk's Store and a new dungeon for those combat madlads to explore.
So, the Halloween Event. What is it? All the enemies in the game whom you can pickpocket have extra Halloween Seeds in their pockets. There is a 1 in 8 chance of pickpocketing 1 of these seeds. You can then use them on farming allotments to grow pumpkins! After an hour a pumpkin will be ready for harvest which you can open to get this year's Halloween cosmetics. These are the items and the relevant drop rates: A dungeon has been found above Rogue's Rest with 2 new bosses. Dead Eye Jones and The Jealous Witch are the 2 new bosses each with top tier armour drops with Dead Eye Jones dropping the Ranging Fiery Armour and The Jealous Witch dropping the Psychic Cultist Armour.

Shalk's Cosmetic Store has arrived on the shores of Damascus. He has a whole stock of new and exciting cosmetics to share with the players of Damascus. Ranging from the much anticipated "Jon Suit" to the community made "Pineapple Staff" there is spending to be done. It works by exchanging bonds for Cosmetic Coins previously known as Commemorative Coins. You then use this Cosmetic Coins to purchase the cosmetics you want the most! Below are the new cosmetic items and their relevant pricing. We have also implemented cosmetic slots to allow players to go around doing normal Damascus things without having to sacrifice certain equipment slots. This means you mad lads can run around in full damascus while still looking hella fine. This is all done to raise money for us devs so we can continue working on the game we all love.

It has been decided that in celebration of the Exchange coming to Damascus an event shall be held and cosmetics shall be given. With the launch of the much anticipated exchange we decided to host a week long event where players will be able to earn some limited time unique cosmetic items. For the next week Money Bags Bears have escaped onto the continent of Damascus in search of the new found wealth the Damascus Exchange is bringing. Killing these bears will grant the player a money bag. Opening the money bags have a chance at getting rare items!
The money bags have the followed drop rates for rare items: 1/32 = Commemorative Coin 1/128 = Suit Shoes 1/512 = Suit Bottoms 1/1024 = Suit Top 1/2048 = Guilded Cape If you don't get a rare item you will be compensated some coins.

Exchange Update!! - The in game auction house is finally here!


Patch 1.16 - Exchange Update


Oh my hat, okay it's happening, everyone stay calm. After a long month of waiting the Damascus Exchange is finally here. Player trades will now be a thing of the past. You need not ever interact with another player again. Goodbye trading channel in the Discord. The Damascus Exchange can be found to the east of Split City. There you will be able to post buy and sell orders for any item you want or don't want. The exchange will always prioritize the lowest priced sell orders and the highest priced buy orders. This means that if the player wants to buy something instantly, they should put a higher than average price in their buy order. If the player wants to sell something instantly, they should put a lower than average price in their sell order. F2P players can have have up to 4 buy orders and 4 sell orders at one time while members can have up to 8 buy orders and 8 sell orders at one time. The prices that are shown are the average price for that items previously successful sales. The default price will be the alch price for that item until it has been sold for the first time. This update marks the arrival of the games first dungeon. In the dungeon we have added a free to play and members boss for a total of two new bosses! These bosses will require 70 Survival and 70 Guildwork respectively in order to access them.

Patch 1.14 - Alchemy, Demons and QoL!

This update sees the long awaited release of Alchemy, the Demonic Spade, the Tortoise Helmet, a bunch of quality of life updates and of course some bug fixes. Alchemy has arrived. The level 42 Psychic spell costs 1 Lesser Actuator to cast and turns any item you choose into gold. The Demonic Spade is the final tool in the Demonic Tools series. It allows the player to farm allotments without any fail chance but takes 4 life away everytime it is used. They are dropped by level 193 Sand Demons at a 1/300 drop rate. Along with the Demonic Spade, the Sand Demons also have a 1/300 chance of dropping the Tortoise Helmet, the first ever cosmetic not from an event. In terms of Quality of Life, we have added a selected bunch of hotkeys for you apm masters, along with the respawn point being changed to just east of the Split City bank. The death expiration timer for dropped items has been extended to 15 minutes and other players can only see another players items after 5 minutes.

4th of July Event1


Due to the large amounts of items that have been destroyed in Damascus the vale between dimensions is weakening once again. Demons have begun to exert their influence on the world. Players have started noticing that trees, rocks and fishing spots have been tainted by the demons. Odd items have been appearing if players mine rocks, chop trees or fish at fishing spots. These are the "demon" items which have a 1 in 8 chance to drop. In order to stabilize the vale between dimensions we must destroy these demonic items at a Destruction Altar. We have discovered that destroying these items at a Destruction Altar results in a variety of new items to be appear. These are the items and their relevant drop rates: 1/2 Red Firecracker
1/4 Green Firecracker
1/8 Blue Firecracker
1/16 Purple Firecracker
1/32 Black Firecracker
1/512 Crown of Nebuchadnezzar
1/1024 Cowboy Hat
1/2048 Cape of Destruction
Our calculations show that it shall take 4 days of destroying demonic items in order to stabilize the vale. Players will still be able to destroy these items even once the vale is stabilized. Copper Staff, the best psychic staff in the game as well as the Helm of the Bull which is now the best melee and psychic helmet in the game. Both these items are worn by the boss, Tikitama. Side with the guild and fight Tikitama!

Mechanics and Skill Orbs Update!

In this patch we have updated the mechanics skill! Enchanted stones can now be created, these stones allow you to break them in order to teleport to a specific location! We have also added skill orbs, these special floating orbs will follow the player around and are a reward for getting to 99 in a particular skill.

When the player reaches their first 99 they will receive a normal skill orb specific to that skill. When they get their second 99 all their skill orbs will become guilded from then on signifying they have achieved level 99 on more than one skill. + E. Stones have been added to the game. E. Stones allow players to teleport to various places with no skill requirement. They can be crafted through the Mechanics skill and the player will get 2 E. Stones per craft. + Fixed a graphical issue with the E. Gold Pistol in the Ranging stat info menu. + The player's progress now automatically saves after they have bought a bond. + Bonds do not drop on death. + Crafting arrows now auto crafts up to 30 times. Once it reaches the 30 mark the player will have to combine the shafts and arrowheads again to make more arrows. + Slowed down the speed of the experience drop which appears when the player gets experience in a skill. + Reorganised the Mining stat info menu. + Potions now break upon use. + The player has to wait 2 seconds after teleporting to teleport again. + Have changed the way eating works. When the player clicks on food to eat it will heal the player straight away. There is then a 2 tick delay (1 second) before you can eat another piece of food. + Have removed the sounds that other players make in game (specifically the combat SFX). Will look at this again at a later stage. + If the player's membership runs out and they are in a members area they will be teleported back to Split City. We will implement a more elegant solution at a later stage.

Temporary Rollback!

This rollback wont affect accounts, all your progress from before will be saved and carried forward. This rollback does mean free players will be again restricted as they were in patch 1.0 but we are going to be changing this as soon as patch 1.01 is stable. We are very sorry we had to rollback to the previous patch, that is however why we keep backup versions in case something unforeseen happens. We will be working our best to solve the server issues ASAP so we can get back to version 1.01 ASAP! We thank everyone for their patience and understanding!! After listening to player feedback we decided to expand what free players can do. We decided to give them complete access to almost all of the skills as well as allowing free players to use all items without restriction. Free players are now only geographically restricted. Damascus is set in a post apocalyptic fantasy future where the destruction of the past has knocked society into a medieval state of living. Many creatures have gained sentience in this timeline leading to the rise of frogman, catsons, owlpeople and many other races. Over time humans have developed psychic abilities that they can invoke with the use of mechanical psychic actuators, these psychic abilities allow them to summon fire or teleport to new locations among many other powers. The destruction of this world was caused by Dark Gods of sacrifice known as the Gods of Destruction, the player can sacrifice items to these entities in order to receive powerful boons from them. The apocalypse was thousands of years in the past and many of those living today have very little to no knowledge of the events that transpired or the fact that there even was an apocalypse.

Design Goals

Our goal is to create a MMO experience that rings true to how classic tabletop Dungeons and Dragons feels with weekly meetups where the dungeon master is creating new custom content for his players taking their decisions and desires into account. We want to have a very active community and will be working very hard to interact directly with the players of the game. We also want to implement new concepts like temporary bosses that drop limited edition items.

FAQ

Here is a little set of common questions about the game in a FAQ format. We thought this would be an easy way to get across a lot of information.


How do you guys make money?
We sell bonds which grant membership. The bonds are redeemable for 14 days of membership and can be traded with other players if you so desire. This means its feasible to do an in game activity for someone who has already bought a bond and trade them for the bond as payment for the activity as a means to become a member.

What is membership?
Membership is the full game experience and unlocks access to all of the in game skills and grants access to the entire game world. Money made from membership helps us cover the server costs and really helps us out!

Will you ever sell experience or items directly?
No we will not. The only thing we will sell are bonds. The value of a bond in game is determined by the players and what they are willing to trade for them. The only way to gain experience or items will be to play the game. We don't believe in selling power.

What are your goals in terms of membership?
Our biggest goal would be to get 500 monthly members which would allow us to cover all our server costs and both work on the game full time. Any members over this amount would be an absolute blessing!

What happens when I die in game?
All of your currently equipped and all items in your inventory will be dropped and you will re-spawn in Split City.

Will you reimburse my items if I die and lose a lot of them?
No we will not, dying in game and losing items is part of the game and it's up to you to bank important items you don't wish to lose.

How many towns are there in game?
There are 14 towns currently in the game.

What happens if I forget my password?
As long as you provided your email address when creating your account we can reset your password for you. At a later stage we will facilitate linking your Steam account to your Damascus account which will provide extra security and password retrieval mechanisms.

Why aren't you guys doing Early Access?
The way we view MMORPG's is that they are inherently a service. Our goal is to constantly update the game as long as it is live. Due to this we didn't want to be yet another permanently in early access game and have decided to have the first stable version of the game be our release version with many updates and future content already in the pipeline.

How often will you update the game?
We plan to update the game every couple of weeks with new content, however this is a loose timeline and it could be shorter or longer depending on the content we are currently working on. We intend to be very active on Discord so you can always ask us directly about what we are working on and approximately when you can expect the next update.

Will you ever expand the world map?
Yes we do plan to at some stage release new Islands and Continents which will expand the scope and scale of the game. However these updates will take some time to implement and most likely come with new quests as some of our larger updates to the game.

Will I get banned for selling in game items for cash to my friends?
No you won't. All in game items earned by you belong to you and you a responsible for them, this means you are free to give them away or sell them to other people and it also means that it's your responsibility to not lose your items in silly ways (like attacking a Damascus Steel Dragon at a low level).

Will I get banned for using/creating a third party client?
We won't be supporting third party clients and we would consider this a bannable offense. The only version of the client one should use is the Steam version.
