Fixed an issue where bots on Dedicated servers would eventually memory leak the server

Hi Everyone! First off, i'd like to apologize for the sparse updates on the game. And for the struggle of retaining players. Friendly reminder we do weekly game sessions on saturdays. This is scheduled in our discord. (Link in forums) Secondly, the next update (Which is scheduled for sometime in the next two months) will include the LONG awaited BOTS!!! Yes that's right, functional bots for 7 of the 9 characters are in the works! And are nearly feature complete. These bots will be able to play DM, TDM, Conquest, Arena, Team Arena, and CTF with you! You can have up to 8 bot players in online, so you can mix real players with bots if you want to :) This update also includes...
The Long Shot - Balance adjustments
There was a bug involving opening the chat, and trying to click the Team or Private tab.
This was causing the game to soft-lock. This has been fixed in this update.
I also snuck in a new weapon... It's called "The Long Shot"
It's a single barrel shotgun with very low spread, high damage, but a very long firing cooldown.
It's available on two maps:
1.25.08 Gwen- -Base movement speed reduced to match camille's speed +Air buff changed from 20% increase to 50% increase UI Fixed "starting camera side" option for camera Fixed "having no combat UI when spawning" (rare bug)
Charlie -Charlie damage taken while holding the flag 1.25 -> 1.5 (25% penalty -> 50%) -Charlie KO-Punch cooldown introduced, 1 second, cost increased to 100 energy (Previously 80) -Introduced a separate layered cooldown of 0.1 seconds to stop multi-abilities from being requested from the server These changes still keep her combat power STRONG from the Gwen release, but knock down her CTF strengths a ton. Hopefully this will tide me over until her eventual rework. I plan on reworking her completely into a new kit. I dont want people to feel bad for playing a character. That's my 100% goal. I don't want people to feel guilty, or like they are abusing something. Server +Changed how admin tags are applied slightly, the admin bug is largely fixed. But the visuals are not... Yet. +Also added a (DEV) tag for fadeout developers so I can stop getting questions when I join people's servers. :P
This DLC will be free! and included in the base game.

Crosshair was showing up on melee weapons & other unintended side effects. Fixed! Option to disable the feature will come with next small patch

A Small hotfix is now live that fixes an issue with trying to host a normal PVP server after hosting wave defense. Thanks! -W
I've reinstated the Linux build I'm reversing my previous decision, the Linux build runs better on steam deck after further testing and I will be continuing to provide native linux builds going forward
Hey All, I'm looking for more feedback on Wave Defense mode, which is 'fully' playable on the beta branch named "sigma"
Hey All, small news update that wont affect really anyone, the Native Linux builds are no longer shipping on steam with Fadeout: Underground going forward. This doesn't affect anyone as most people are using Proton (Even the linux users who thought they were using the native builds, are actually running the proton build) These changes will take affect once the sigma branch makes it to live (Sometime in december) That is all, Cheers!
If you want to help test, its available publically via the Steam Beta system, if you havent used it before, its available under the game's propertiies window -> Betas -> and select "sigma" branch
The game will update shortly afterward
*Warning* You cannot joint regular dedicated servers while on this branch, if you want to return to the regular branch you need to revisit this window again
Once you're on the sigma branch, launch the game and hit "Wave Survival" (name pending)
You can invite up to 7 other players to your lobby
Once ready, step onto the green platform.
The game will load the map, good luck!
Right now its only 4 waves, but its extremely challenging with 2 players. The more the merrier :)

Second to last content patch, last one being 16th I decided to squeeze in a bit more bug fixes + an ancient promise of Voice Chat! Default voice chat key is C, its global, and only works if you're alive (for now) Let me know how this goes! We did some testing, and most sound setups seem to work fine.

+ little bottles and glasses in the mechanyon bar that can be moved around
+ Bingo's stealth dmg bonus is now on-swing cache instead of within 0.3 seconds
+ Harpoon-slow gives a harpoon immunity for its duration

Players can now host and join games using Steam accounts! New fancy host menu! Select your map, max players, and server name! Then hit HOST Your friends should be able to see your game on the server browser shortly afterward!
