Colossal Update (0.11.0)

Greetings captains! This update is ready, now! You can play it through the demo or beta playtest. One of the largest updates so far that completely changes progression and the way you build your ship.


Automaton


Your own personal handyman capable of repairing, rebuilding and farming. It is yet unknown what powers its internal systems.

PDA designer


Tired of blindly building your ship? now you can see and plan out the design directly from the pda.

New progression system & 5 new metals


With the new tiered blocks you have to make several stops along the way to pick up increasingly more valuable resources to build those new colossal hardware. Progression is locked behind 5 new materials that are found the deeper you go into the galaxy:
  • Steel
  • Duralumin
  • Cobinel
  • Bio-Molecular Iron
  • Bio-Molecular titanium

Asteroids everywhere


Do you even need an explanation for this? Mining has finally became a profitable time investment, especially with asteroids made out of gold that fill the central sectors.

9 new gatlings


With 400x more power than the tier 1, the new colossal variants will shred any drone in seconds. Finally a good alternative to railguns.

9 new rocket launchers


Annoyed by the barrage of missiles drones throw at you? Now you can annoy them as well, without the worry that the launchers will get destroyed. Not sure why they still attack when they see a rocket launcher that is bigger than your ship....

9 new boosters


Annoyed by the bed of boosters you had to build/repair on your ship? One Colossal booster is more than enough to propel you to the other side of the universe.

9 new rcs blocks


Disappointed you can't get the ship to spin at 120 rpm fast enough to annoy your crewmates? Now you can. Please don't.

45 new tank blocks


To fuel your new colossal boosters and rcs. New fluid: Xenon.

Inventory fetching V2 (MP)


Annoyed your crew keeps that cargobox locked all the time? Now you have access to the contents of the box for crafting, fetching, upgrading and farming in multiplayer without having to interact with it.

New main ship: Canigva


Major version comes with a major redesign. Now with scalable tank positions, nicer room layout and a single airlock.

More modding options


Add your own turrets, boosters, npcs and basically any already defined block, no restrictions. Turrets can consume from a secondary grid and several new options.

Rewrite for most of the code


As with any 0.x version, a lot of the code was rewritten, especially the pda, asset managing, ship firing and input.

Convenience Update (0.10.5)

Hi captains! This update is out, now! You can play it yourself through the playtest option or through the demo. The update consists of a multitude of features designed to improve the quality of the game:


Planet survival scenarios


Sick of always starting in space with a fully functional ship? Survive and eventually repair a wrecked ship to escape the harsh environment in the new planet survival scenarios.

Inventory fetching


Inventory management is the final boss in most games and it's not fun. I know. Now you can fetch/pull inventory directly from the ship for crafting, planting and repairing. Quick send to ship also included.

Reliable multiplayer connection


Developed a brand new reliable network module for multiplayer to ensure packets are going to reliably arrive to your peers. Say goodbye to de-syncs.

4 new pois and drones


With 2 more drone variants and 2 more planet base designs the game will no longer feel so similar in your away missions.

Adjacent upgrade


Who has time to dismantle the smaller blocks in order to build a larger one? Not me, just place 4 tanks of same type together and a new mega tank will take their place. 2 mega tanks make a colossal one, more than enough to fuel your booster bed.

New blocks and new items


Beacon


Want to score a new record but don't have time to wait for the waves to come? The beacon will broadcast your location making them come 4 times faster.

Semiconductor Fabricator


Running low on CPUs and ICs, craft them yourself, no engineering knowledge required. Be careful!, this block is very expensive to build.

New tanks and battery variants


Introducing the new Colossal and Mega variants for the Tanks and for the Batteries. 600% the capacity for 400% the size and it stacks exponentially(32x capacity for 16x size).

Blast Door


Who likes breaches? Doors make more sense.

Finish game event


Move aimlessly across the galaxy and eventually quit without any catharsis? Clear the central sector to mark your achievement into the game and into the leaderboard. Big notifications and a reward included.

Atmosphere navigation


Get the necessary info to keep your ship on the correct trajectory with the new horizon and altitude indicators.

New crafting & trading panel design


Because both needed an overhaul. New keybinds for stack crafting included. With the new trading panel you can sell anything as long as it is an item and has some value.

New 3d models & images for items


As with any update, I strive to bring a sense of consistent design across the entire game, thus adding 30 new models for items. And who doesn't like to both see the crensel cake and also eat it?

Deck editing with tools


I can't believe I didn't have this before, just right click and left click to edit the floor/roof of any adjacent deck. Perfect for making space for colossal tanks and panoramic views.

Popup crafting panel


Searching recursively for recipes is not fun. That's why now you can simply click on the missing ingredient and a popup with the available recipes for it will appear to quickly craft your pistol without having to switch crafting tabs.

Remote mission taking


Dock -> get mission -> undock takes to long. Just hail the station and the mission list will be downloaded on the electronics console for you to take. Convenient.

New Autopilot/ Nav. Assist options


Another QoL feature is the improved nav assist. With the new options to - automatically revert mid-way, - prevent overshooting, - stop on proximity and - stop on collision you won't have to worry about the journey while you enjoy you crensel smoothie on the observation deck. What self driving level is that? 3?

New player & suit model for mp


Our avatar got a face lift!

Over 390 fixes/small qol features


Many smaller convenience features were added like: - Suits drop when suitdocks are dismantled, same with hydroponics and seeds. - More info on item description panel. - Ammo is returned when weapon is sold/dismantled. - Kick/ban/unban from pda. - Detailed damage report directly on the driving hud. - Start weapons and engines with one button each. - Wave warning notifications. - Detailed crew stats on the player list ui. - Removing windows/cargo doors/airlocks no longer depressurizes the ship. - Upgrading tanks/batteries doesn't lose their stored content. And many more.

Fire through shields


Finally you won't have to worry about getting hit because shields flicker to allow your projectiles. The new algorithms for shield emitters allows firing without having to turn the shields temporarily off.

Passive healing


Not having access to medical pods dooms you into a death loop. Just give it few minutes and your health will improve up to a point ... or more exactly, up to 50 points.

Turret ammo unloading


Since you never use the gatling rounds because you can't land any hit why not sell them? 20K free at the start of the game? Sign me up!

Hover mode for ships


Now this is a very convenient feature, gone are the days of throttling and having to manually remove the boosters to reduce as much as possible the vertical acceleration in atmosphere. Now you can even leave the ship inclined and it will eventually get to it's destination without crashing and without anyone driving (if you know how).

Lots of balancing


A lot of recipes were changed, intermediate items removed and values tweaked in order to make the experience of playing as convenient as possible. New game loops were introduced like semiconductor crafting or turret recycling.

Auto item equip


Look at a tank, hold F and automatically you will get the filled pouches from ship inventory and start pouring them one after another. Same for tools, heals, seeds, battery and reactor rods. One held key(F) to rule them all.

2 times larger planets


Planet survival on a 32km planet? Nope, double it.

Clientside projectiles


No longer get hit by invisible projectile because you live 500 milliseconds away. If you don't get hit from the projectiles that you can see, YOU DON'T GET HIT.

Energy Update (v0.10.4)

Hi captains! This update is out, now! You can play it yourself through the playtest option or through the demo. Those are the highlights:


Electrolyzer, fuel cells, transformer


Ever run out of o2 and h2 but had mountains of unused water? Or are the turbines not providing enough power for you? I got you covered, convert liquids with each other and with both electricity grids like joggling balls. Electrolyzer: 2*h2o + electricity => h2 + 2*o2 Fuel cells: h2 + 2*o2 => 2*h2o + electricity Transformer: (Boost mode) Aux grid => Main grid, (Buck mode) Main grid => Aux grid


Fusion & singularity reactors


Do you have nothing to sink your resources into in the end-game? Well, those 2 overpowered reactors will give you enough plasma to power a entire planet... sustainably.

New precise building system


No more overlaps and nice building animation. Did I mention you can place multiple blocks in the same voxel (1x1x1m) if they don't physically overlap?

RCS nozzle effects


No space sim is complete without RCS nozzle particles!

New suitdock, lift, deck elevator and cargodoor


You will learn to love the deck elevator, up and down, get to other decks in no time, gone are the days of stairs or ladders.


Updated energy console


Well... we can't have all those new energy blocks without a 80 button startup procedure, now can we?

Getting out of the ship for repairs is not fun, I know; that's why all blocks are accessible for repairs from inside as well.

Rename ship command


Somehow 'Crocked sparrow' sound way better than 'My Ship(7)'. Let's see what names you come up with. Remember, type in chat: /renameship [name of ship] .

Lots of multiplayer fixes


After hours and hours of playing multiplayer I never got a single error(desync/network errors not included). MP is getting more and more stable with each update.

New items and item sprites


Plushies for me, plushies for you , plushies for everyone. Ran out of power and only need seconds to start up the turbines? The hand held crank generator will give you the squeeze you need to run the energy console for a bit. Last but not least, you don't have to work so hard writing the complains about the bad quality item images, I know and I am actively updating them.


More modding options


Tired of the same red cone model you see when you shoot the gatlings? You can shoot rubber ducks at turrets now. Be the first one to make this mod! Oooor replace bullets with individually loadable ammo clips. Blocks, recipes and items got new configurable fields for you to play with.

Dismantling gets all items back


Placed the RCS in the wrong orientation? Want to clear a hallway for your battery farm? I got you covered. Take apart any block and recraft it again at no additional cost. Signing out, Beholder

Overhaul Update (v0.10.3)

New networking framework


Felling lonely in your ship far away from any outpost? Join servers with 2 clicks so you can feel lonely with your friends together. Supporting 3 server types: > UNET, fast and simple but require port forwarding and no server listing > Photon, higher latency but always works without hiccups > Steam net(not tested) which is a mix of both.

New airlock


Realistic model ..... check. Nice animation ..... check. Juicy sound effects .... check. Docking capabilities .... check. Automated mode .... check. Timed cycle .... check.


New Maz assault riffle


What looter shooter would Adro be without a assault riffle? Sleak design, high dps, custom sound effects.... it can even damage drones, I mean, what else could you want?

New shotgun


Gone is the smg placeholder model, with custom animations and buffed stats the new shotgun will be your go to choice for raiding.

New models for several blocks


Introducing the new screen, with a better design then the predecessor it features additional info regarding grid levels, propulsion stats and ship dimensions. Landing pad and solar panels got refitted as well.


New ui design


It was about time to pump some quality and cohesion into the menu. All elements are organized properly and use the same aesthetic.

New station missions


Brand new Distress signal, Investigate Unknown signals and few more missions were introduced to replace the useless previous ones.

Targetable markers


Yes, get them juicy nav assist intel for distant locations as well.

Damaged blocks show on ui


Tired of running around the ship to find the damaged blocks? Say no more. Ship maintenance is gonna be way easier when you can see which blocks were damaged with the new damage indicators, just hold a tool in your hands.

Balanced loot and recipes


Removed lots of unneeded or abundant items, added few more intermediary recipe ingredients and removed all weapons from loot since you can craft them now. Added recipes for some blocks and simplified others.

New item icons


Did I mention this is a overhaul update? where I mostly improve a preexisting part of the game, well lots of items got new 3d renders as icons of AAA quality. Would you believe me if I told you some of them were 5 years old?

Updated consoles


Redistributed the buttons to the rest of the console, some new text and new functionalities and added few more buttons, I mean, Who doesn't like more buttons?

New sound effects


Reloading, firing, boosters and airlock sounds got a level up and it's not in volume.

Many bugfixes


I even wonder how could some bugs make it so far into development without getting caught...

Performance improvements


Drastically reduced draw calls by batching meshes of the same type into a single call. Made planet bases spawn around the player instead of having precalculated spawn positions to reduce save file size. Less triangles and draw calls from the new blocks. Also recycled materials for multiple blocks to prevent expensive gpu context changes.

Other changes


New material for fps hands, instant crafting and speed info on driving ui are some of the new additions as well as improved item and mission modding. Steam integration is in prototype phase so next update expect full support. Vehicles and current time are shown on UI. Tools have further reach and undocking can be done from cockpit. Farming Update (v0.10.2)

Hi captains! This update is out, now! You can play it yourself through the playtest option or through the demo. Those are the highlights:


New farming system


It was about time! multi stage growing, water/compost requirements and planting fruits directly are some of the new options.

3 new consoles


Though still in prototype phase, they have all the functionalities of the legacy consoles. Proper layout will come in next updates. All about removing legacy blocks. Did I mention they are fully modable?

6 new crops


Namium, nurins, olis, crensel, artein and tiuras. You will learn to rely on them for subsistence since the traders won't sell you anything edible anymore, jerks. Did you know you can plant things other than seeds and crops? Find out what :).

New shield system and blocks


Remember when you used to press one button to completely recharge the shields? Now they recharge very slowly and only when deactivated but can be stacked to increase the shield capacity. Because one is too few and 3 are to many.... for a normal ship, 9 tiers should be enough to make your ship a moving bullet black hole. They also look nice.

17 new food items


Each with it's own reference, can you name them all? You thought I would make a farming update without adding a use for the plants? Guess again.

New models for 32 current blocks


In line with the aesthetics of Adro.

Target tracking


For those that can't git gud. If you think the new shields are op wait until you see this. Need the mainframe to access this overpowered ship ability. All projectiles are way faster now so at close range all hits are guaranteed.

Feedback & news panels


For when you can't be bothered to join Discord, share with me your precious feedback and receive them precious news, directly from the game.

Configurable brightness & light quality


All about supporting computers with lower specs, hey, not all simulated realities can afford to have more than one quality light source. For when your audience only sees black in your twitch streams, pump the brightness up to blinding to silence them.

Hull breach fixing


No longer have to scrap that nanoscopic collider in the frame block, the new hull breaches require patch plates to fix and have a proper full area collider.

Lots of fixes and tweaks


Removing unneeded steps/items/recipes, you know... making the gameplay less grindy. Made missions actually worth doing, added more navigation info, more recycling to prevent excess items and many other QoL modifications.

Proper audio modding


Thanks to naudio (library) you can bring your own melodic creations into Adro. Variable bit rate, multi/single channel, yes we support them all.

Auto port forwarding


Can't be bothered to connect to your router to do a port forward?, do these words sound like Chinese? I got you covered. By default Adro will let others connect to you over internet even if your network does not allow it, as long as your router knows the UPNP protocol.

Dedicated server mode


Automation at its finest, script a server to start/stop from a shell/command prompt on a remote machine without human intervention. There are also special commands like ban, unban, kick, restart and all the usual management set.

Lots of new modding options


Block light modding, farming modding, liquids/grids fill level modding and blocks particle effects modding, let your creative aberrations become alive in Adrorium. Signing out, Beholder

LookShift Update (v0.10.1)

Hi captains! This update is out, now! You can play it yourself through the playtest option or through the demo. Those are the highlights:


New models for most blocks & new blocks


The main scope of this update was to improve the visuals of the game (let's face it, they were horrible before), so I remodeled almost all blocks and now Adro looks completely different, some might even call it a look shift.

New energy console


Power up the reactors, enable the dockports, see the block energy consumption and many more options from the same console. With the new modern and compact look it is designed to replace all the other energy related consoles. Did I mention it is fully modable? Unique to this console is that it lists the energy consumption and generation for each grid for each block.

New multiplayer framework


Goodbye Photon. The new framework based on UNET is way more stable, has less desyncs and it is faster since it involves a direct connection. It comes with a default server listing option. However you will need to portforward/use Hamachi if you want to play over internet.

New items and recipes


Build the reactor after the first loot run? don't think so, the new resources will scale the progression fairly.

Implemented voice commands


When you just can't be bothered to use your hands. Raise shields, fire weapons, debug teleport, fire boosters and many more available commands under your very finger tips, I mean vocal cords.

New block upgrade chain


But I already upgraded this block 6 times, how much more powerful can it get? On the other hand what else can I do with these end game resources...

Reworked loot/scrap progression


Did all these cargo containers from wreckages feel unrealistic? I mean who leaves perfectly fine loot just hanging around? Nobody. But who uses loot to build blocks instead of putting it in cargo? Everyone, yes, everyone. Except you, probably, good thing you don't have to loot your own ship, hopefully.....hopefully. Scrap the wreckages if you want the goodies.

Ship speed is now saved


Oh my, am I going at 14Km/s towards that planet? let me just quick save 'n load to avoid flattening my ship... oh wait... well it was a nice run.

New button layout for consoles


Removed some buttons here, added more buttons there, you know.... Just ensuring each button is not just a means of unlocking the... next button.

Updated ship designs


Can't add all these new blocks and leave the ships hangin'.

Nicer planet material


That Voronoi pattern surely looks better than the simple gradient. You will definitely notice it when you land.

Overhauled rover driving


Sick of the rover flipping inside the ship? The new driving system is simulating the physics at the wheel level instead of the rover level.

Multi screen ratio support


It's 'multi ratio', not 'multi screen', but it's just as useful, now you can have any ratio you want as long as it's greater than a square (1:1), lets see that 5760x1080 go go go.

Image modding


For when you need to replace the ugly vanilla screwdriver item icon with your ugly screwdriver item icon.

Updated manual

Encounter Update (v0.10.0)

Hy captains! This update is out, now! You can play it yourself through the demo so what are you waiting for? Those are the highlights:


New procedural planets


Getting bored of the old repetitive ones? the new framework brings 4 times larger procedural planets (configurable up to earth size), random colors, better resolution and random terrain types.

New turrets


Ever wanted to man the ship weapons? wait no more, the new turrets are player controllable so you can concentrate on avoiding incoming fire while your mate is manning the turrets from the second cockpit.

New ships


Behold the new end game enemy drone that will mow down your ship in moments if you don't prepare. This version also brings updated designs for litro, riroa and for the spacestation. The planet base design has also been updated to make planet exploration a brand new experience.

New cockpit drive camera modes


You are no longer limited to the cockpit view. Orbit camera, target follow, and several more modes are available now, configurable for global rotation or local rotation. Spatial awareness has got a huge upgrade.

Random wreckage encounters


Space is no longer empty, just cruise around and you will encounter wreckages all over the place, can't get shipwrecked now in deep space if you have resources everywhere around you.

New ui chat, popup and title


No longer will you have to endure the old static 'notification' text, the new version brings a brand new chat panel, title popup for mission completion or other important events and small popups for less important events like crafting.


New diplomacy system


Used to scrapping the station blocks for a quick resource grab? No longer will the inhabitants permit that. Break few blocks and the wrath of the station will be unleashed on you and your ship with a barrage of railguns and multiple interior turrets shredding your ship in mere moments. Damaging ships will reduce your reputation with that faction. The new diplomacy system allows you to see the reputation and declare war to other factions directly from your pda.

Projectiles inherit ship velocity


No longer will you have to worry about bullets hitting your own ship, now projectiles inherit the ship's speed so you can have dogfights at 10s of 1000 of meters per second. Turrets are also prevented from firing at their own ship.

Aiming assist


Since projectiles don't go forward but inherit ship's speed, the new aiming assist tells you exactly in which direction to fire in order to land a successful hit, taking into consideration your velocity, the target velocity, the distance and projectile speed, all for each individual weapon type.

Updated crafting tree and loot tables


Since you used to be left with boxes of useless components, the new recipes will help you in converting all the unusable loot into useful components.

New enemy AI


With the new turrets no longer requiring forward alignment the enemy factions have become way more dangerous. The new AI for drones will track you from many kilometers away and the turrets will make avoiding enemy fire way more difficult.

Automated and multifunctional tools


Annoyed by having to click a billion times to do a simple tool action? With the new automated tools you just have to hold click. Also tools now are able to do everything, no more specialized tools, the only difference is that some tools are way faster than others.

Markers


A extremely useful feature that allows for a lot of optimizations by replacing entire ships or spawn positions with markers. In future versions it will get even more functionality.

Dynamic lights


With this feature lights from far away no longer consume performance. Only the close enough light sources are activated based on distance.

New inventory and log panel design


To finally get read of that ugly 3 year old design.

2 times larger sectors


To account for the larger planets and for the abundance of resources from wreckages.

Massive performance optimizations


Stations and planet bases no longer spawn unless you get closer to them. Simplified the hierarchy and colliders for most blocks. Savefiles cache the ship designs to drastically reduce size.

New framework for missions


With new additional objectives, easier to use format and configurable start and end actions.

New ui animations


Yes, the ui is now animated!

Extended modding support


Block modding supports hierarchical structure and configurable behavior, planet types are completely configurable, gametypes have lots of new options and many more configuration options for mods.

Items from creative panel have been organized into groups.

Rewrite for the majority of the code


This is the largest Update so far and most of the frameworks have been rewritten from scratch including missions, saving& loading, savefile format, planets, block modding and so on.

Ship model exporter


Ever wanted to make a nice scene in blender with ships from Adro? Just press the export ship model button from creative menu and you'll get the .obj ship model file ready to import into blender.

Projectile shield bounce chance


Shield deflection will require you to pay attention for the angle of attack.

Fixed pda to belt


Your pda (including the map) is locked to the first slot of the belt. Now you can't lose the pda, get locked of your own ship or not have access to the map. It is also way easier to use with the new M and ~ key bindings.

Lander Update (v0.9.1)

Hy captains! This update is out, now! You can play it yourself through the demo so what are you waiting for? Those are the highlights:


Planet Landing


Yes, your dreams of crashing your weird ship on the surface of a planet are possible.

New Rover


You gotta love the new design, but wait... - 3 seats? checked. - 2 suit racks? checked. - 2 cargoholds? checked. - Suspensions? checked. - Waist disposal? checked. - Bed? checked. - Fits neatly inside the ship? checked!

Collision damage


All hands, brace for impact!! Your ship is the larges projectile that you can fire after all.

New Booster


With a way nicer model and proper visual effects, the new booster comes with a additional vertical mode that is perfect for landing on planets.

Simplified crafting tree


Say goodbye to most intermediate ingredients, Adro is a spaceship/survival game, not a factory line.

Sniper


When anything except headshots is not acceptable.

Crouching


Stuck on ships often or want to go through small corridors? Crouching will allow you to go through a 1x1 meter opening. Remember that turrets can't fire at you if you are under them.

New ships


First vanilla multi deckers are here. They feature 4 boosters, a rover hold and a lot of extra space.

Deck floors and hatch


Individual decks are a thing now, no excuse to not build the Enterprise.

Hull depressurization


Limitless trolling opportunities. But seriously now, be sure your crew has suits before exposing them to the deadly void of space.

Discord integration


So the entire world can see what ship are you driving directly from your discord profile.

New dying mechanics


No longer will you be spawned kilometers away from your ship as a penalty, dead is dead now and you are a descendant, just don't be disappointed when you realize the ship you inherited has been looted.

Ship oxygen consumption


Doesn't it feel nice to know that when a dial indicates 0 you will die? Might need to draw straws when you won't have enough 02 for everyone until you arrive at the station.

Aiming zoom


All weapons now have a zooming effect when aiming. A sniper is not a sniper without a scope.

Vehicle crafting


Now that rovers are no longer found near planets or in any other spot for that matter you will need to be able to build one yourself.

Docking camera


Beep beep beep, docking will be more immersive now.

Masterserver


Servers from other continents will show up on the list.

Updated audio system for all blocks


Crisp audio effects for all blocks even at light speed.

New cargodoor


Specially designed for the rover, just don't forget to power them.

Consoles are stackable now


Bridges can be more compact when you have 4 consoles per squared meter.

Frame limit option


Prevent your rig from melting, who needs 500 fps when your screen can only eat 60.

Tweaks to all loot tables


Even ingredient ratios, lees boxes of useless items and no more abundance of food and weapons in loot.

Atmosphere visual effects


How else would you know you are crashing into a planet?

0.9.0 Major update

Hi captains, The 0.9.0 update (largest to date) is out! You can play it yourself through the demo so what are you waiting for? Here are the highlights:


NEW CAMPAIGN


First chapter is ready and it involves the steps leading to the first hostile encounter.

NEW HULL EDITING FRAMEWORK


This is a major feature, now you can use hull pieces, walls and drill to modify the hull of the ship.

NEW COCKPIT


Complete redesign of the cockpit, more information presented in a better screen based interface. Each of the 5 cockpit screens has a specific purpose: system stats, combat, targeting, navigation and sensors.

PLAYER WEAPON RELOADING


Self explanatory. This feature also allows storing more information per item so spoil time, quality or level can be added in future versions very easily.

MULTI DECK SHIPS


The new hull editing framework allows you to extend the ship below and above the current decks.

SUPPORT FOR VERY HIGH SHIP SPEEDS


Complete redesign of the way ships transverse long distances, removed the legacy small scale mfm jump and replaced it with high speed pure newtonian physics baby! In this new setup ships have to accelerate half the way and decelerate the other half, boosters are toggled so you don't have to hold shift. Introducing the plasma mode for boosters, it needs the reactor to be functioning but it offers twice the acceleration power compared with pure fuel. Kinda nice to repair the ship while it's moving at 10km/s.

10 TIMES LARGER SECTORS


Since the new accelerate/decelerate navigation method is way faster then the previous cap at 1km/s, sectors can afford to be way bigger.

ROVER INVENTORY AND SUITDOCK


No longer will you be limited on how much can you carry on planets in your inventory or by how long your suit o2 will last, the rover has you covered with the internal facilities that should cater to your needs like cargo hold, bunk, suit dock or toilet.

NEW TRADING UI


It's easier now to see what you can sell/buy and to trade in bulk with the new interaction panel. Also the loot tables for all traders have been tweaked.

NEW SOUNDTRACKS


4 new soundtracks spread over 7 theme events.

NEW CHALLENGE GAME MODE


You are stuck on a abandoned wreckage filled with anti-personnel turrets, can you make your way to the closest station with only your trusted shotgun?

NEW RIROA9 SHIP


New major version, new main ship. To keep inline with the update it is a multy-decker.

LOTS OF NEW ITEMS AND RECIPES


18 new items 14 new recipes

TWEAKED ALL LOOT TABLES


Added the new items to loots and simplified the crafting tree to make Adro less of a looter-shooter, the last part is still in progress. Now traders work with the same loot table code that loot containers do, easier too configure and mod.

TRAJECTORY CALCULATIONS


Want to know for how long should you accelerate and when to do a 180 at mid point or want to know other navigation details? The cockpit has you covered, just align the ship heading to your target.

Those 10km/s crazy speeds need a way of looking awesome, particles are the solution. There are 2 types of space dust, for <50m/s you have static particles to indicate how you are moving relative to a stationary object and at >50m/s you got speed particles that get crazier and crazier the closer you get to light speed.

NEW LIQUID HANDLING


Reloading ship weapons works like reloading the tanks, all with same code. You can reload batteries, capacitors and plasma buffers now. Also added more items to aid with moving large amounts of liquids. Did I mention all of this is modable?

DEBUG TELEPORT COMMAND


Sick of having to god mode your way to your ship or to a planet? /tp has you covered, use the parameter to indicate your destination ( 1: friendly, 2: neutral, 3: enemy, name of ship or class of ship)

REWRITE FOR THE MAJORITY OF CODE


This is the largest update so far, it took more than 300 hours to complete and it required complete/partial rewrites for most frameworks like interaction, inventory, vehicles, saving format, sector loading, mfm jumps, ship grids, ship movement, projectiles, networking, ship mesh, block building and so on.
