The game is currently in an Alpha state. I am still adding new features.
Features currently in the game:
-A new procedurally generated galaxy is created on each new save
-All ships and weapons are procedurally generated
-Intense, top-down ship to ship combat influenced by planet heat (based on closeness to the system star), procedural weapon and ship variety, asteroids, and miniboss events.
-Complex block-based damage system factoring in projectile type, size, and speed
-Different ship pieces hold different traits, such as more/less speed, more/less HP
-Solar system seeds that determine planet size/color and enemy equipment/behavior
-Breakable asteroids with realistic physics; they can serve as obstacles and cover. You can also push them towards enemies and cause massive damage
-Space station invasions with procedurally placed turrets, ships and minibosses
-Ship and weapon marketplaces with procedurally generated assets. You can buy and sell items at these
-The ability to change ships and weapons
-Ship and weapon stats UI with easy-to-read statistics indicators
-Special abilities based on race
-End-match loot with multiple different weapon rarities
-A player character with clothing color customization
-Faction affinity with your chosen faction; you have the option to invade friendly systems but will lose affinity with your faction which affects interactions at space stations
-A high score system displayed by a reputation bar and status; your high score is saved into the name of your save
-Heavy metal procedurally generated OST with orchestral backtones that dynamically ramps up and ramps down based on what's going on in the game
-Shrapnel explosions that can cause collateral kills and killchains
-Credit management system
-Fuel management system
Hello Explorers!\n\nToday marks the release of the Travel Menu - a new, streamlined menu to assist with travelling across the Galactic Map.

Hi all,
First update in a while.
Over the past two days I upgraded some visuals and fixed a bug causing Warpkin dodge to stop working.
Asteroids now have rounded textures instead of blocky ones.
Also, the backgrounds for the mothership interior and hangar have been switched out for some better looking ones.
Lastly, a texture bug causing several bold lines to appear on the background while invading space stations has been fixed.
Fixed a bug causing projectiles to come out but not move.
Fixed a glitch causing an extra star to appear at the bottom of the screen and remain there throughout the duration of a battle.
Co-op seemed to be completely broken.
Now, it isn't.
Fixed a bug which caused swapping ships to repair destroyed ships.
Fixed copilot able to move while game is paused bug
Local Co-Op has been added to the game.
Go on a galactic adventure with up to two other players.
Customize your ships with thousands of different skins and millions of different ship and weapon combinations.
Nobody to play with? No problem. Copilots will automatically default to AI control if they aren't being controlled by another player.
Fly with stakes - if your co-op partner gets downed, you will have to repair their ship or switch it for a working one in order for them to fly with you again.
Multiple ships per battle means multiple lives. This means improved difficulty with multiple ships at hand. Fly with copilots who can help you beat levels faster and surpass high scores easier. If the squad leader's ship is destroyed, don't fret; if you have copilots remaining, this doesn't mean a 'Game Over' anymore. Keep going until everyone's ship is destroyed.
Improved Performance - scripting optimizations have improved framerates across the board. Play this game with high frame rates on any potato.
Experimental online cooperative play is being added as well, via Steam Remote Play.
